Obviously, for woven fabrics, this layer of fluff is not only easy to stain with dust, but also easy to cause various defects. Therefore, in order to solve these problems, in addition to some special types of fabrics, it is often necessary to singe.

In the next step, in order to improve the strength, wear resistance and smoothness of woven fabric, sizing is also needed. At present, the commonly used size mainly includes natural size, such as starch, wax and so on. Desizing is to remove the size on the cloth surface by means of physical and chemical reactions, so as to improve the permeability and dye uptake of the fabric.

At the same time, there will be a certain amount of impurities in the woven fabric during the pad dyeing process, which may affect its physical properties and dyeing quality. Therefore, it is necessary to remove impurities by scouring and bleaching, which can provide a good basis for dyeing and post-treatment.

The remaining link is mercerization, which is more complicated. However, after mercerizing, the adsorption and chemical properties of woven fabrics can be significantly improved, so mercerizing plays a very important role in the dyeing performance of pad dyeing machine for woven fabrics.
